How much time do you, or key district staff spend each year on HQT and the Parent Report Card?
|
Do you have convenient access to licensure and certification information, or is it a paper based process to which a limited number of individuals have access? How time consuming is the administration and verification of acceptance of the policies and practices of the district?
Wouldn't it be great if this data was maintained conveniently on a secure web environment?
Teacher Information Management System (T.I.M.S.) was created to collect and inventory 'Teacher Data' for school districts. Ddata is currently located in:
- Personal Rolodexes
- Human Resources files and file cabinets
- Accounts Payable and finance systems [ADP]
- Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Microsoft Access databases
These repositories contain multiple versions of incorrect and out-of-date data. There is also a significant amount of information that is missing and/or inaccurate that T.I.M.S. identifies.
Open-Source Business Model
TIMS® uses the new revolutionary Open-Source business model. Eliminating expensive proprietary software, databases, and third-party licenses (Oracle, Windows, MS SQL) results in less cost and more value. Open Standards do not lock you in, to proprietary software.
